Christmas shopping season starts in just a few days! I’ve always felt like it was a pain to try to keep track of how much money I’ve spent on each person on my list. Then I found some great tutorials on Pinterest for making a DIY Christmas Money Envelope System and I decided this would be a perfect solution!
Here are three tutorials that I used for inspiration:
Bacon in My Pocket Blog | Nickerson Nest | Kelleigh Ratzlaff Designs
I looked at their instructions and kind of combined the things that I liked. I think you could get really creative with this!
The really cool thing was that it didn’t cost me hardly anything. I got the blue card stock paper from Michael’s for $0.75, the rustic ribbon was $1 and I found the envelopes on clearance at Target for $0.35! Even if you have to pay more for the envelopes this project should be well under $5.
How do you keep track of your Christmas spending? Have you ever used the envelope system?
